We are still looking for 12 more sponsors in order to have all our 44 current athletes sponsored.
Here is how your sponsored child will benefit from just $34 each month:
-Food and Water.
- Education and Tuition costs.
- Housing.
-Loving and caring Community.
-All soccer gear and equipment.
-Enrollment in MUNGU ACADEMY.
While this might seem like a small amount of money, $34 can go such a long way in enabling a child to grow in a proper environment, as well as have proper training and coaching to take soccer to the next level and be able to spread love to all areas of the globe through sport!

The 4th Annual of the Big V Invitational was a huge success in helping to raise funds for MUNGU.

Fundraising and Other Special Projects - NGO Status
Currently, MUNGU Academy is raising money and sponsors to achieve our big 2024 EOY goal; House ALL of the athletes under 1 roof and enroll them into Calvary Chapel School in Entebbe, Uganda. We made this a goal of ours after returning from our Uganda trip in June, realizing that our athletes are too scattered across Uganda and have varying levels of education quality. With our ties to Calvary Chapel, we can funnel our athletes through a quality education system backed by our sponsors and the sponsors of the Church, and bring kids out of the poverty system in Uganda. To legally house our players, we must acquire NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) status from the government of Uganda.
We are WELL on our way to achieving this, recently securing funding for initial NGO fees from a very generous sponsor’s donation!! Our Uganda team is currently seeking the right accommodations for the athletes, and Calvary Entebbe’s lawyer will be conducting the legal process. With God’s grace, we will complete the final step for NGO status and house all of the kids together under one roof to attend Calvary Entebbe by the beginning of 2025.

Independence Cup and Regionals
This year, MUNGU was proudly invited to compete in the prestigious National Independence Cup, a nationwide tournament that brings together the best teams from across the country. We not only participated but triumphed—securing 1st place and bringing home the coveted gold trophy! This victory opens the door to even more elite tournaments across the East Africa region, where we'll be competing in multiple countries.
The only hurdle standing in our way now is transportation. To make this vision a reality, we need a dedicated bus to travel to these competitions. We're seeking support to help us get there and continue our journey of success on the national and regional stage. Join us in making this dream a reality!

Kisakye Bright scored 6 goals In the Independence Cup and was the tournament's top scorer.
He is one of a few players currently being scouted.
Sponsor and Group Call - December 13th
We're thrilled to invite you to join us for another special Zoom event on December 13th!
This unique opportunity allows you to connect one-on-one with the child you're sponsoring, providing you with a personal glimpse into the difference your support is making. Each call will be individually hosted, with a MUNGU coach or team member on hand to guide the conversation.
Once all individual calls are complete, we’ll host a group session with the MUNGU management team. This group call will allow you to learn more about our work, ask questions, and share your thoughts directly with us.
